Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
Nohaya ("we", "us", "our") operates nohaya.com and its related tools, including AI Tools, Creator Tools (CreatorVoice), the Resume Builder, Places, and PromptAi (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. When you sign in anonymously, we assign your browser a unique identifier with no personal information attached. If you choose to "Sign in with Google" (required before any payment), we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google.
- Gmail data (Email Cleaner only). If you click “Connect your Gmail” on the Email Cleaner app, Google asks you to grant two scopes: read access to your Gmail messages, and the ability to archive, trash, or mark messages read on your behalf. We only request your inbox data, and only after you take that action — see Section 5 for exactly how it's used.
- Content you submit. Text you enter into AI Tools or Script Writer, audio files you upload to Speech to Text, Voice Clone, Audio Cleanup, or Voice Transform, and resume content you enter into the Resume Builder.
- Content we generate for you. AI-written text, generated voice clips, transcripts, and resume PDFs, stored so you can access them again later.
- Usage data. Which tools you use, how many free uses you've consumed, and your Nohaya Pro subscription/purchase status.
- Payment information. We never see or store your card or bank details. Payments are processed entirely by Razorpay and PayPal — we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, the amount, and a transaction reference.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the tools you use (generating text, audio, and resume PDFs).
- To track free-trial usage and Nohaya Pro / purchase entitlements, so you don't get charged twice or lose access you've already paid for.
- To let you re-download resumes you've purchased and revisit past Creator Tools jobs.
- To respond to support requests sent to nohayasite@gmail.com.
- To detect abuse (e.g. automated requests designed to drain free trials) and keep the Service running reliably.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services We Use
To operate the Service, we share the minimum necessary data with these processors:
- Google Firebase — authentication and our database (stores your account, usage, and entitlement records).
- Google Gmail API — if you connect Email Cleaner, we call Gmail's API directly from your browser using the access token Google issues to you, to list/read your messages and carry out actions (archive, trash, mark read) you request.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — processes the text you submit to AI Tools and Script Writer to generate a response. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models under its API terms.
- OpenAI API — powers Email Cleaner's AI features (cleanup suggestions, priority ranking, summaries, replies, and similar). Only the specific email content needed for the action you trigger is sent, and OpenAI does not use API data to train its models under its API terms.
- Cloudflare R2 — stores generated and uploaded audio files for Creator Tools.
- Amazon Web Services (S3/CloudFront) — hosts this website.
- Razorpay and PayPal — process payments for Nohaya Pro and one-time resume downloads.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf.
4. Voice Data and Cloning
If you use Voice Clone, the audio sample you upload is used only to generate speech in that voice when you request it, and to validate the sample meets minimum quality requirements. You may only upload voice samples you have the right to use — see our Terms and Conditions for restrictions on cloning someone else's voice without consent.
5. Email Cleaner and Gmail Data
Email Cleaner is a Nohaya app that connects to your Gmail account so AI can help you clean and organize your inbox — powered by the same Maila AI backend used by the Maila mobile app. This section explains exactly how that works.
- What we access. After you click “Connect your Gmail” and approve Google's consent screen, Email Cleaner can read your Gmail messages (subject, sender, snippet, labels, and full content when you open a specific tool on that message) and perform actions you request — archiving, trashing, or marking a message read.
- How we use it. Your inbox data is used solely to display it to you and to power the specific AI feature you trigger (for example, generating cleanup suggestions, ranking messages by priority, drafting a reply, or summarizing a message). Only the data needed for that action is sent to our AI backend at the moment you request it.
- What we store. We do not store your Gmail messages or their content on our servers. Your Google access token is kept only in your browser's session storage for the duration of your visit and is never sent to or stored on our servers — every Gmail API call and AI request happens directly from your browser or is processed and discarded, not logged.
- What we don't do. We do not use your Gmail data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to train AI models.
- Revoking access.Click “Disconnect” in Email Cleaner at any time, or revoke access directly from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Nohaya's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data, generated content, and purchase/subscription records for as long as your account is active, so you can keep accessing content you've already paid for. Gmail data is not retained at all — see Section 5. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 8).
7. Cookies and Local Storage
We use your browser's local storage to save resume drafts on your device and to remember your signed-in session. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Your Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing nohayasite@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days. Deleting your account will also remove access to any resumes or content tied to it, including past purchases — please download anything you need first.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access-controlled cloud infrastructure) to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
