This page explains what Nohaya actually stores in your browser and what third-party tools we use to understand how the site is used. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Local Storage (Not Third-Party Cookies)

Most of what we store in your browser is local storage, not cookies — it stays on your device and isn't sent to us automatically with every request the way a cookie is. We use it for:

• Remembering your light/dark theme preference.
• Saving resume and cover letter drafts you build in the editor, so you don't lose work on refresh.
• Keeping your session signed in between visits.
• Storing a random, anonymous ID so we can count page views and understand how the site is used, without using cookies or tracking you personally.

2. Analytics We Use

We track basic usage ourselves — which pages are visited, and a handful of specific actions like resume downloads, AI tool usage, and checkout steps — instead of using a third-party analytics service. This relies on the random, anonymous ID described in Section 1, stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie. It isn't tied to your name, email, or any other personal information, and we don't use it for advertising or sell it to anyone.

3. Payment Processors

If you make a purchase, Razorpay or PayPal may set their own cookies during checkout to process the payment securely. We don't control these directly — see their own privacy policies for details.

4. Managing Cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time — the resume builder, ATS checker, and AI tools all function the same either way, since we don't rely on cookies for analytics. Blocking local storage may prevent your theme preference, in-progress drafts, or the anonymous analytics ID from being remembered.

If the analytics or storage tools we use change, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
